HID upgrade, which one to go with?

I recently installed Xenon Depot HID kit 5000K and they are great but my low beams stay on when I use my high beams. Any ideas why?
I do not have the relay kit installed--would this be the reason?

I sent email to Xenon Depot and they said they haven't heard of the low beams staying on with their HID Kit. So now I'm a little confused.
Anyone with Xenon Depot HID kit in low beams have high/low beams on together?

In the 14+ 4runner, the low beams are supposed to stay on whenever you activate the high beams. This is how it was designed by Toyota to give the best coverage and has nothing to do with your new aftermarket lighting kit. As e60ral noted, the fogs do go off when you activate your high beams.

As for Xenon Depot saying they haven't head of this... The customer service rep is probably saying they have never heard of headlights coming on with high beams as a result of their kit being installed.

I apologize for the confusion -- I think what the rep may have meant was that our HID kit would not make your lights function any differently then stock.

Are you certain that your low beams shut off before when you activated your high beams?

No worries.
I'm not sure if low beams turned off when high beams were activated prior to the HID install. I think what threw me off is the HID's are so bright now that when I engage the high beams I can still see the low beams. Where as before the low beams weren't so bright that I only notice the high beams when I engaged the high beams. Hope that makes sense and thanks for your reply.

For a basic LED foglight bulb replacement, the yellow Philips LED bulbs are pretty sweet.....much better than all of the other yellow LED's I've tried from Amazon ect., but of course much more expensive.

Hopefully they last a lot longer than the others as well.

BTW, I installed the Xenon HID 4300k kit in my 2014 (projector housing) I guess about a year ago and it's been great. Just be sure to adjust your headlights so you aren't "that guy" blinding everyone. I did and I haven't been flashed since.

Also note that if you load down the back or tow, your headlights will point up some so I adjusted mine a little lower than specs.

And if you're drilling into your dust cover, these can't be beat.

Just install the kensun 55watt kit. Got a flicker both sides. Should I run relay kit, thinking the factory wiring is not giving it enough power.
