Has anyone done an led strip mod across the top? I’d love to switch out the half way one on these spec’d lights and do a better one all the way across also removing the 3 leds.

yes, i didnt wire up the 3 leds ontop, the car doesnt look nice with the 3 eds on.

size of the lightwurkz halo i bought? i cant remember, but its either 110mm or 90mm, just checked their website, it appears out of stock now.

i believe you can better halos from china, with color changing capabilities thrown in

I'm looking into splitting these open and replacing the halos as well. The passenger side started flickering after about a year and the replacement bulbs on SpecD's website have been 'Out of Stock' for a while. I measured from the outside of the housing and the halo O.D. measured roughly 95mm. I'll let you know the exact measurements when I get them split.

110 is going to be your best fit for the 06+ headlights.

Go with diode dynamics or mori for the halos. They've lasted me around 3 years I think.

Good looking out Kryptoxx. Is 110 the best fit in a the stock headlight housing or the aftermarket SpecD housing? I was looking to replace the SpecD halos. If 110 is the best replacement for either application, even better. Thanks for the reply, I'll check out those brands you mentioned when I'm ready to purchase.
