Hidden Hitch 70779 vs Curt 13445

I was looking to install an aftermarket hitch and am trying to choose between these two. I like the Hidden Hitch because it will relocate the trailer light bracket what i am confused is it calls for the fascia to be removed and reinstalled what is this? I like the Curt because you dont have to remove any part of the bumper but i dont have any idea what to do with the brake light bracket once it is installed?

I put the Curt on a 2008 SR5 with no problems and think its great. I left the electrical socket as is and use and extender/adapter since I only need a flat four connection.

I have 70779. To do all over again I'd probably do the Curt assuming the rating is 7,x00 w/a WDH.

I am torn about the plug location on my 70779. The plug location works great, it interferes with the departure angle just a bit and I am not in love with the looks of the plug, The downside to the Curt is you need an extension cord type adaptor for many trailers (which is no big deal).

I didn't have to remove or adjust any facia. Maybe that's a '03-'05 thing...

Ok thanks I went ahead and ordered the curt but how can i get the tow hook off i am going to try to get some pipe and use it as leverage tomorrow is that how yall got it off.

I just used a socket to remove tow hook. I also removed the bolts that hold electrical outlet onto bracket. This way I can just slide the outlet back into bracket when not towing.

Well my is preaty tight that is why i am going with the pipe method hopefully all goes well or gonna have to find someone with an air wrench.
