So I decided to install a HID kit on my 01' 4runner and problem is only my high beams are working and not my low beams. I can't seem to figure it out and sadly I can't drive my 4Runner in the night time with my high beams blinding everyone and I don't need a ticket for this either haha. Some help would be much appreciated, thanks!

you sure it's not your low beams? With nothing but an aftermarket HID kit, your bright lights won't work any longer. With brights engaged, the low beam circuit loses power.

yepp polarity, unplug bulb socket from ballasts, rotate 180 degrees and try again.
As soon as I start my 4Runner, lights are automatically on high beams already when I go to turn the headlight switch to on it should switch over to low beams but it doesn't..

I played around with the prongs on the harness switching them around, no luck though still only high beams are on.

It sounds like you didn't disable the DRL circuit?
