Hey everyone, here is my 2007 4Runner. Just to give a quick background, my first car was a 1999 Honda accord (which I received before I even had my learner’s permit). After realizing it was too small a car for me (since I am 6’4”), I got a 2001 Pathfinder. I loved that car and had it for a little over 3 years before I decided that I wanted something newer and with 4WD. That is when I purchased my 2007 V6 4Runner this past March over my college spring break. This is right after driving her back to Virginia Tech after spring break.
So the first/minor “modifications” made to my 4runner was the license plates and decals. As said before, I attend Virginia Tech and proudly support my school! I know some people may find the decals a little tacky, but I am someone who likes to stand out and doesn’t really mind what people think about me. I am all about snowboarding and these were just some decals I thought would make my 4runner really stand out. As for Hidy Ho… a lot of people think it is more South Park’s Mr. Hanky the Christmas Poo, but it is actually from the song Minnie the Moocher by Cab Calloway and because my last name is Hidy (which is what I go by to most people).
Alright, I think I have rambled enough so here is what I got so far.
Current Mods/Equipment:
• Cobra 75 WX ST with 4ft Firestik FS
• Overland Full 2.0” Lift Kit with adjustment wrench
• Toytec Front Differential Drop Kit
• 33” Nitto Trail Grapplers on 18” XD Rockstars
• Weather Tec h Floor Mats
• Garmin GPS
• Machete
Here is the 4Runner after I installed the Lift Kit.
I just got my Nitto Trail Grapplers and XD Rockstars this weekend down in NC and I love them already! I originally was going to go with the Mud Grapplers, but when I got to the tire place we found a few problems... There is no offset on the XD Rockstars so the tires were hitting the UCA, Sway Bar, and Frame. I know I could've used a 1" spacer to fix those problems, but would've created a lot of work for trimming and I then couldn't drive it off the lot. Another few things would be the tires would stick out about an inch from the wheel well, the noise factor, and of course the tire longevity. Ultimately I am more than satisfied with the Trails and maybe when these tires wear out I will change to the Mud Grapplers.

• Yakima Snowboard Rack
• Shrockworks Winch Bumper with PIAA fog lights (maybe winch)
• Light Force 240’s
• Rear Storage Box
• Rock Sliders
• Bud Built Skid Plates
• Air Compressor
• Dual Battery
• Cargo Liner
• Random Tools/ Recovery & Emergency Gear
More than likely more things will be added to this list as I continue to mod the 4runner. There will surely be more to come and thanks for looking!
