High Beam Adjustment Question

I adjusted the lights down, but the driver side is still pretty out of whack. It is rotated enough to still be a bit too high for anyone driving in a lane to my right.
And the high beam is still of no real use.
Still may have to look at taking these apart to fix them. I don't think the projectors were installed with adhesive, but I can't get the seller to respond to my questions.

I just picked up my TRD Pro yesterday and love it except for the headlights. I am new to the world of 4Runner (had a couple of FJs in the past and their headlights were horrible as well) and was wondering what the preferred choice of replacement bulbs or HID/LED, was.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated!

i just installed the new Philips Xtreme LED's in my housings, but my truck has been in the shop for the last 16 weeks SOOOOO i haven't had a chance to play with them.

seems like drop in HID's for the low beam are pretty popular, though i would do your research and highly highly advise you replace the incandescent projector with one made for HID's if you intend to permanently use HIDs. as well, i do not suggest putting HIDs in the fog light housings or the high beams as the constant strike and restriking of the capsule will lead to failure.

not to mention, the 14+ fog light thousands are built to withstand heat from a 23watt bulb. a 35watt HID will be producing MUCH more heat than that and you could see failure. a 55watt HID will definitely melt the housing.

your best legal upgrade would be to fit your H11 low beams with higher output incandescent bulbs.
