high transmission fluid temperature?

How do you do this?

I used the codes for "TOYOTA - LEXUS - SCION SPECIFIC CANSF".

If I remember correctly i think 1 didn't work and the other 2 did, i believe one is temperature in the pan and one is at the converter

How do you do this?

the scan gauge II is what I use for my toyota and GM vehicles. I have it programed to indicate the trans temps on both vehicles [trucks]..

on the toyota there are 2 sensors on the tranny. one is the torque converter the RXD for this is 3808 ................this temp will change most times quicker than the pan.. the RXD for the pan is 2808 ...........this changes slower ...

the fluid temps may read the same this does occur when the transmission is under light steady loads/idle etc.. good tool for accurate readings .. also I found this tool more accurate on MPG when taking a long trip. before I filled up the vehicle using this tool I filled the fuel tank with exactly what I calculated the scan gauge indicated..

toyota does not have an oil pressure sender so NO oil pressure will show !!!! toyota uses a on/off switch on oil pressure so no pressure then the oil light comes on ...

I also used the advance auto coupons so I got a big discount..
the manufacturer is also responsive if you have any issues very good service .......

Who did your last oil change? I've heard of nightmare stories where transmission fluid was drained instead of engine oil.
