Highlander leaving, I'm coming back!!!!!

I am so coming back!! This weekend the highlander leaves and coming home is a 2012 Limited!! This baby is black with black interior, entune nav, cross rails, cargo shade, mud guards and wheels locks. Will post pic or two after the weekend. Hubby and I are trying to decide if chrome stays or goes for a more sleak look.:trophy:

And I say get rid of the chrome by painting it all green. Then you will be different from all of the other blacked out runners.

Sweet! My Black/Black Limited is in port and getting ready for a piggy-back ride home.
Never have been a big fan of chrome BUT on a Black rig with Blacked out windows - kinda sharp.
Chrome on a hardcore trail rig is a little like a bow tie on a Pig (doesn't look good and the Pig doesn't like it either)
 
Hubby had a say in this Runner

Granted I only had the highlander for 5 months, but it did its job very well. Once we did not need the softer ride, things about it started to bother us. One thing led to another and while the dealer her in NJ could not do much, we found a dealer in Vermont who came thru with flying colors. The gap in price was not much, less than 7000 and well everyone knows.....
4Runners Rule!!! I had to have one again and am thrilled to be back on the forum! I dont have it yet but already ordered window vent shade and aeroskin hood skin. Now looking at nerf bars. Mods? not ruling them out this forum is loaded with ideas.
 
Welcome back! Now, change the tires as soon as possible.You can start dealing with local tire shops NOW, then when you get your rig, drive directly to the tire shop and trade them in. You should get TOP dollar trade value since the OEM tires will have very little mileage on them......be safe.

I can't wait experience this joy of getting a 4R too! haha... just gotta get this deployment over with first. Congrats on the new and upgraded addition.

Snomobile, what did you like and not like about the Highlander? We will soon need to replace my wife's Camry, and the Highlander--maybe a hybrid-- is a candidate. This would be for driving around town and for highway trips, with our 4Runner for off pavement, camping, and winter ski trips. Thanks for any info.
 
highlander is a neat cuv type vehicle

The highlander is a great vehicle for families or people who do not want the ride of the 4runners we all have. It is a softer ride than an SR5 and was perfect after my hubbys quad bypass. We found the seats to be quite non supportive, more like soft captains type seats. It has all sorts of neat storage areas. Its power for the smaller v6 is fantastic in mine. I would get a highlander over any of the other cuv vehicles out there. Mine is cypress green with black interior. I had to add the cross rails and a trailer hitch and you most likely will find the highlander forum very lacking. I did and refuse to log on there anymore. Bottom line, I recommend the highlander.
 
Had one for about a month, they are nice vehicles. I (everybody here probably) need a rig that trips my trigger. Highlanders are really nice like a Chick/Best Friend.....

Picking it up Saturday!! Can't wait!!! Think the chrome is gonna stay getting ready to order 4" westin nerf bars in chrome I believe. Got the window vent shades and the aeroskin hood shield already. Will also add a k&n air filter. Put one in the highlander and it made a difference. Kept the weathertech front mats from my 2011 4runner so they will go in my new ride. I feel like a kid in a candy store again!!!!!!!
