Hitch Shackel-Best price

Looking to get a hitch shackle. Where can I get the best price on one? Quick search online looks like its gonna cost me about $25.00 for the cheapest one. Also do I need to add any tow points to the front of my stock 4th gen? Looking to get into some light/medium off roading this season and want to be pre paired. Thanks

Tow points on the front are a big yes. You want lots of tow points because you never know how the truck will be situated when you need a tug. Front is especially important on trails because if you are having trouble with an obstacle and you want to continue down the trail some is going to have to give you a tug over.

i guess a good question would be where are some good locations on the front to have tow points? that factory point can't be good for getting a good tug over anything but help getting on the back of a flat bed tow truck, not that we would ever need to get on a tow truck.

Yes, thats what I was asking is where is everyone with stock bumpers mounting them at on the front.
