Hmmmm. Scam or legit?

I think this a Glacier Metallic Runner. This color was never available in 1999 — but for only one year 2001. The ad says the truck is a 1999 though.

The door tag says the paint code isn't even Glacier Metallic but K73 which is Millennium Silver which was introduced in 1999. If you look around the door plate in the last pic, the paint is visible and it is silver.

Its clearly a 99. I'm sure they just got the paint color wrong. It's offered by a dealership so I would say that the vehicle being for sale is legit. If you message them and they tell you about contacting a company and putting money in escrow and saying they will ship it to you, then its a scam.

I think when you said it looked blue, that put it in my head cause the first time I thought it did look very light blue but then again its silver...
get a carfax report....
On a side note I owned a 1989 Trans AM GTA that had a console lid sticker (the sticker with all the packages accessories paint trim codes on it) from a 1989 Camaro Iroc Z....very weird but it was a legit GTA

At the very least the truck has a crappy paint job. Even limited models didn't come with color matched trailer hitch! So the color doesn't match original silver.

Seems I've returned home to some controversy! Haha...

First pic titled "unknown Runner" is the 4Runner in the ad. As is the last picture. The picture in the middle is of Toyota Glacier Metallic.

Not the greatest picture comparison as obviously the pictures were taken under different conditions, but I think it's enough show that the truck might not be silver as the code says. Could be either the lighting conditions the ad photos were taken in, or just the Gorilla Glue 4 I was smoking last night (no not actual glue...)

In this picture the running boards don't match the rear fender flares and neither do the front fender flares. But in the other pictures it appears they do. This is some serious camera color balance issues. Otherwise, it's been repainted?
