Hoen endurance yellow not firing up?

hey everyone,

I bought a pair of the Hoen endurance yellow bulbs for my fogs and they turned out pretty well. They worked fine for about 2 weeks but now I'm having a small problem. On one of the bulbs, I'll have to tap the fog lense to get the bulb to fire up. This problem is only on one bulb, not back and forth.

Is this a bad bulb or is something wrong with the wiring? I didn't have this problem with he stock halogens. Any solutions?

I don't know too much about this, but you might be able to check the resistance on both bulbs with a multimeter, or you can swap them and see which one won't turn on.

it does turn on, but only after i tap the plastic lense. It's also only limited to the driver's side.

I would guess you have a bad bulb. Did you have any problems w/ the fogs before these?

Nope none at all, except the ones bfore were from the factory . I emailed hoen and he said that it might be a connector problem and to disconnect the bulb and check for debris. I haven't got a chance to do that yet.

Before seeing your post about Hoens recommendation, I was going to suggest that. It could be the bulb but unlikely since everything is hardwired from the contacts to the filaments. IF it was the filament it would be a lot more intermittent or not work at all.

When you unplug the connector, spray a bit of contact cleaner into it and then push it back on tight then back off a few times to "wipe" the contacts to help clean them.
