So I drove 10 hours today to visit my parents for the holidays. I was home for about 2.5 hours when I heard a loud crash and the whole house shook. Went outside to find this. :( Looks like I will be in the market for a new 4Runner...She wasnt even 6 months old....

Welcome Home! Ouuucccchhh! Happy to hear YOU or anybody else was not in the truck. So sorry bud. But, try to have a Merry Christmas anyways.
Be Safe.

Important thing is that nobody got hurt. It's sad of course but on the bright side you'll get a brand new 4Runner as a Christmas present : )

I broke down in tears when I totaled my 98, j think I would have **** my pants and cried in the fetal position for days if that happened to me.

Still, happy holidays and be safe!

Glad no one was injured. That is crazy. I remember from my Scout days as a kid learning about "The widow makers" That was one of them for sure.

How high up was that branch when it fell ?

The "branch" was actually about an 80 foot pine that snapped about 10 feet up. So about 70 feet, lol

Here's a picture of me exacting revenge on the tree...and my last view of her

That's crazy!

What are your plans for a replacement- same color?

Definitely a 2013 Trail with KDSS. I haven't decided on the color, either magnetic gray again or shoreline blue. I haven't seen any shoreline blues in the Northern VA area, so thats what I'm leaning towards.
