Home from vaca, Chi to Hilton Head...

About 1k each way, two adults, two teens and the Thule up top. I run at the posted speed +5 mph with the cruise and the 4R averaged 18.5 - 19.5 mpg. I now have 153k on my 4R and this vehicle never ceases to amaze me.

Hands down the best ride I've ever had...

Imagine what the mpg would have been without the Thule. LOL.

When my runner was new we drove it Chi-SanFran-Phoenix and home. I think it was roughly 5300 miles. I averaged 21 on that trip. Ever since I put the Yakima rack up top I cannot break 19.

Drove today from Chi to PA. Just me and the empty 4R and NO Thule and two tanks ran 20.3 & 20.4.

That's about as high as my mileage gets...
