It's good that so many people have taken the OP'S safety into consideration. However, it could have been done with a little more tact. Calling his idea "stupid", and saying that it's a "dumba55" idea, doesn't help him see your side of things. It puts him on the defensive, and makes him want to prove you wrong.
I won't bash Wabbit's work, as I don't have any 1st hand experience with the product. However, as a person that works in a Service oriented industry, I can say that having a bad attitude, doesn't get you more business. Like JohnsD90 said, it could put people off from recommending you for work. You can be the best fabricator in the country, but if people think you're a jerk, you'll only be limiting your business potential. Not that I doubt you have a ton of work, but imagine how well you COULD be doing, with just a little more customer service.
That same attitude, also puts people off of YT. There is a wealth of knowledge there, but everytime a Newbie posts something that the Mods find to go against posting rules, their stuff gets axed?? One thing I'd like to know is why are build threads not allowed in the regular forum, yet there are threads titled "my SAS'd 99 Runner" and "My 96 Taco build! Supercharged 3rz"??
There seems to be alot of favoritism there, and not a whole lot of professionalism by some of the moderators. One might even say, that one should take a page from his own book, and "Lighten up, Francis."
Again, I'm not trying to step on anyones toes here, just trying to get people to see the OP's point of view. I just hope that this post, doesn't get me banned now from YT......
but I will forever be with Brian (wabbit) on this one.
