The Homelink buttons in the roof console area are hot all the time. This presents somewhat of a security challenge if you park outside your home.
I added a replacement auto-dimming mirror with Homelink and compass (see Bob’s Mirrors for great deals). This is plug & play, giving me three more Homelink buttons, hot only when the ignition is on.
