Hood Swap

located in AZ.

I have a 2019 SR5 super white hood with 2,009 miles on it i will trade for a scooped super white hood in equal condition.

I will also pay $200 cash at the time of trade as well.
 
Part Number for Hood w/scoop

Has anyone ever bought the hood w/scoop from Toyota parts? If so how much did it end up costing and what was the part number(s)?

There is another thread all about that with part numbers. at the end of that thread i posted the best prices i have found at the time.

I want to say it was just under $400 for everything from Toyota (not including paint). You could shave about $100 off that price by purchasing an aftermarket OEM replacement hood from a place like Certi-Fit.

My estimate on paint is anywhere from $150-$350 depending on color, and paint shop.


I am seriously considering going this route myself, nobody wants to swap.

That sounds waaaay under priced, pretty sure the scoop guts alone are around $200, then the hood itself is probably around $700. And THEN paint. Youre probably looking at around a $1,000 venture

You can get the guts for about $100. But yea, that seems more accurate for a hood.
 
here you go, part numbers, prices, and quantity's. Feel free to take those parts numbers and look them up in an online Toyota parts catalog...last time i checked prices went down. So much for that $700 hood....

#1: 53301-35210 Hood w/ scoop: $354

#18: 76181-35902 Scoop insert: $77.54
(Should already come with the plastic clips #23 & #24 (no need to order), mine did when I ordered the Scoop insert)

#19: 76182-35080 Scoop Guide: $15.35

#20: 76183-35030 Scoop protector: $1.14
(Should be (2) small felt strips in the package)

#21: 76183-35040 Scoop protector: $1.14
(Should be (2) long felt strips in the package)

#22: 76185-35030 Scoop protector: $2.02
((1) long felt strip)

#26: 90080-17189 Scoop Nuts (4) qty (4 x $1.46): $5.84
(Order (4) as each nut is sold separately)


TOTAL: $457.03 BEFORE PAINT.

Not what I would have expected at all. That's really not a bad deal. Thanks for gathering all that, I know that will be handy for a lot of people.

Have you come across the 2019 Pro hood scoop, that is black (finished) plastic instead of something meant to be paint matched?

I guess I'm not even sure if it's a separate piece.
 
In NC. Looking for MGM scooped hood.

Have a 2018 with 5k garaged miles. Has the clear wrap. Great shape. Would trade for scooped in great shape and would definitely give a few hundred bucks. Let me know what you have and how much extra you want for it.

I have a 2015 mgm 4Runner non scooped hood in good shape but would trade for a scooped hood.
Located in Winston-Salem, NC

Im going to order up all of these parts.

The scooped hood completes the front end. Its fairly cheap overall.
