Hot/warm shift indicator light

Hey guys I bought my 2005 Sport used. The console between the seats has pry marks like someone has been inside of it. When I have my headlights on, the indicator light for the 2L position on the shift indicator gets fairly warm compared to what I can get my finger onto the rest of them. Can someone check theirs for me and see if it appears warmer than the rest. I just want to make sure this is normal and someone hasn't been inside and put in a light bulb that might melt the plastic. I don't think it is that hot/warm but would just like to compare it to someone else's. Thanks for going to the trouble to help me out, my old fingers have been burned/mashed and cut so many times, hard to have any feeling in them........

It's normal. I've noticed that the bulbs used to backlight the trans shifter do get unusually warm.

Thanks toto for checking......I can take my finger out of the 2L indicator light on the way to work then...............:biggrin2:
