Just wondering if any Houston area members could recommend a good reputable shop to install an Icon suspension.

....And I know, I should do it myself, but I have about 30 minutes of free time a day at this point. Plus I'm interested to see if the wife will even notice. She still has not even noticed the Duratracs or RockyRoads.

Since you are in Katy have you tried Extreme Offroad in Katy down Mason? I do all the work myself but they always have cool looking trucks there.

Icon Stage 2 with Billet UCAs on a 2014 Trail with KDSS. Any interest [MENTION=80990]Rubberdown[/MENTION] ? I have actually thought about paying someone to help me do it. I would like to learn, but have more money than time these days. I have one buddy with a shop, but he is too busy. I would have to knock it out on a Saturday or Sunday. I did my rack and my lights solo, but that was at night between 10 and 2 when the kiddos were asleep. I really would not want to tackle a suspension at night.

Not sure I have the skill set to lead an Icon install, but if you need an extra set of hands, let me know. I'm just up the road near Tomball/Cypress and would be glad to help!
 
Hey I'm cypress too. Howdy! Yeah man we can do it one weekend on a sat or Sunday at my house, I have the tools we need and all that jazz.
 
I am interested in helping out as well. Mainly to learn, but wil do whatever is needed. Hand out the beers, clean up or whatever. I have a 2010 trail and am considering a toytec lift. I stopped by 4 wheel parts on 610 by astrodome last week to ask them about a lift and what they charge. They never even heard of toytec. They tried to sell me a procomp lift. Trying to sell me jeep parts. They didn't know much and really didn't seem interested in helping. So let me know
If I can join in on the fun
 
Company called C&C northside lexus up in spring (I think) does a killer job! I took my landcruiser to them and my dad still takes his Toyotas there. Talk to Kurt.

Stay away from the morons at Extreme offroad they are a bunch of crooks

Thanks for all of the suggestions guys. I am going to check out a couple of these shops next week. If one of them does not work out I may be hitting some of you guys up for some :help:
 
I'm in Houston proper but I've installed 5100s on my old f150 so I'm familiar with the process. Be happy to help and see the new setup, I'm trying to fig out exactly what setup to go with myself on my 2014

Good. I actually bought an Icon Stage 2 set from Performance Truck Products. They do a lot of Icon installations. It should be here early next week and then will need to schedule an install time. C&C was nice as well. I was conflicted on whether to go with a shop that does a lot of Icon or a shop that has more experience with KDSS - which C&C does. I will be going there if things do not work out at PTP. I will post up some pics once all is done - I am hoping to have it done the week after Labor day.
