How bad is my RUST?!?! =///

Just bought this guy..

2006 Toyota 4Runner 4WD Limited, 144k miles, water pump and belt done at 110k. Interior 9/10, exterior 8/10! Drove perfect...

Super excited!!!! Please tell me this rust isn't as bad as I think it could be???

Yeah that looks pretty clean coming from a Yankee who bought a Michigan 4runner. I'd still clean it/coat it for good measure but looks like you got a decent buy with no rust concerns.

I'm not an expert in diagnosing rust so I waited until few people chimed in after reading the thread last night. For the most part my hunch was right - it does not look bad at all in regard to the condition of rust. However I did wonder if rust was okay on the trailer hitch next to the tire..seems like it will be okay if no one else said something about it

Mine is much worse. Hit everything with a good coat of Fluid Film once or twice a year and enjoy the new ride.

I know they are some bad pics of the underside but thanks for the comments. I'm pretty happy with it for 12.9!!!
