How can I mount my lights?

I wanted to mount my lights i just got on my 4runner but there is something holding me back...I bought a set of hella 700s, Ihave a brush guard and want to mount it on there. however my brush guard does not have any mounting tabs right in front of the radiator. but rather its just a tube bar with no holes or pre-drilled looking spots where i can install. If i do however drill into my brush guard...I wont be able to tighten the locking washer. Its basically like drilling into a hollow tube and inserting the lights...and you cant tighten it because its too thick. i also had a choice of mounting it on my fat lip bumper, but i didnt want to do that. if it comes down to it i probally will thou...any ideas?

Try this on your front bar: Mounting Bracket # 7307<br> Fits 1.5 to 2 inch round tube

Are you talking about the bottom round tube? If so, I've also looked at trying to mount lights there. PIAA (and others) make mounts specifically for this.
PIAA Mounts
They can also be found cheaper on ebay and I think I've seen some people make their own.

Those PIAA mounts look better, and I agree you can make your own, I did on my roof rack with steel hose clamps. Some might say its a little redneck, but it works.

thanks guys, but that KC mount tab wont work...the main bar i want to mount lights on is ...kinda oval ..if you were to cut it in half it would be oval..but the top and bottom are flat....and i'd say its about 3 inch in diameter

You could still drill through it. But make the bottom hole bigger so the washer and nut can fit through there and you could still get a socket in there too to tighten it down. Does that make sense?

EDIT: Basically, drill the hole the same diameter as the bolt for the lights, and the underside of the bar you can drill the hole larger to fit the nut inside the bar and tighten down.

Or for now, try my steel hose clamp idea. Hose clamps will tighten down around an oval. They only cost about a buck or two, and easy to mount.

so the steel hose mount wont work bc the oval hes talking about is about 4" long and has a thickness of about 1-1.5"... The brush guard i had already had the holes to mount my lights but if i were u i would just take a drill bit through the whole essembly and get a longer bolt at Home Depot/Lowes for like $5 for the pair and bolt it all down and call it a done deal.

UArandy3: i have lights mounted on the lower cylindrical bar of the brush guard and ya u can buy adapters like the KC ones but they are pricey... U could do wat JSmarine said with the hose clamps but when i did mine i went simple and just took a drill and drillbit to the pipe and drilled all the way through and well ive had my lights on there for 6 years now and they are still looking perfecct and function great!
