How do I access the xm "sharkfin" antenna?

Hi,
My wife failed to open the garage door completely before backing out the other day. The very bottom of garage door bumped the very tip of the shark fin causing the fin to pull away from the roof about 1/4".
I'm hoping to get some info on how I access the antenna. Does the entire headliner need to come down?

Any help would be great

You won't need to drop the headliner completely but it'll be very tight to get a 19mm? wrench in there to loosen the single nut. There are some pics in my build thread. If I knew how to link certain pics, I would. You will need to pull off the d-pillar and all the other necessary trim around the rear quarter windows.

In your description of the concern, it appears that the actual sheetmetal of the roof is bent upwards. You can attempt to gently tap the shark fin to bend it back. The only thing holding the shark fin on is one nut.

Go to a specific post in your thread then;
Click "Permalink" in the upper right corner of your single post and;

The roof is fine, just the antenna pulled up a bit so it no longer lays flat on the roof. I'm worried about leaks
 
I'm betting the roof is slightly dimpled upwards. Meaning, the nut on the inside was pulled up with the antenna while your wife was backing out of the garage. I believe the nut is still tight and that the sheet metal is popping up like a pimple. The roof is very thin towards the middle. The only substantial structure is along the roof rack lines.

When you get a chance, can you post a pic? There is a rubber grommet/seal between the plastic shark fin and the roof. This is the only seal between the antenna and roof. If it is pulled up, you will start to see some leaking onto your headliner.
