How Do I Do The Ipod Hookup On A Scion Stereo???

im bidding on a 2008 pioneer scion stereo to stick in my 04 sport and i dont see any auxilary hookups in the back to connect to my ipod so how do i do this?

Scion to iPod interface cable

You need one of the cables listed on ebay under "SC12235".
This cable connects to the rear of the Scion head unit (T1806, T1808, and T1809 models) and allows complete control of the iPod from the head unit.
I have purchased two of these myself and they work great.

i just recieved my brand new 1808 scion stereo today, i picked it up for 100 bucks brandnew out of the box and now im waiting on my cable so i can install these badboys!

it'll be so nice to have control of my ipod through my head unit- and i just returned my 80gig ipod for the 160 gig model because the 80 couldnt hold all my music!

The reason I ask is that I just bought an '06 Sport, and it has the base radio. So I thought I'd pick up a T1808, which I believe is plug-compatible.

i bought the 1808 and i just installed it today (took about 25 mins) and i freaking love it especially with the ipod cable i got off ebay! i havent really fooled around with all the functions cause i didnt really drive anywhere today but i love the look of it and i look forward to pumping it on my way to work tomorrow

i replaced the base stereo from my 04

Ive looked around and see the same pics over and over. Can someone confirm with me that the t1808 only lights up in orange? If not, what color? TIA

I'm interested in doing a similar swap, but I have an 04 Limited with the JBL System. Is it still that simple? Also, is there still a separate aux input, other than the ipod connection?
