how do you like, and rate your toyota 4runner?

Let me start here,

I have a 1995 4runner, at this time, it is in the shop it install a new exhust valve that is costing me around $14-1800 bucks. I don't mind spending this money as the truck is in MINT shape. I also love this truck. I only had it for 4 months and really got to love it. I would like to know if all of you 4runners owners feel as I do.

my satisfaction owning a T4R is the same with a man with a bimmer x5. the truck fits me well, versatile.

I think if a survey was done on satisfied owner for each SUV models (all the years it was made); I would bet the 4Runner would be number 1.

Well, being that my 4Runner is my first truck,(had a 92' Camry before) I love it and wouldn't go back to a car again. Lots of room, strong, great for outdoors, can do lots of mods, etc...If it wasn't for the little things imperfections I have with the 03' like the driveshaft, the driver's seat and the stinking wrotten smell of CAT It will be the perfect truck!

This is my second 4Runner. Sure, there is a few things I would change about the truck and of course there is some features I would love to have available on the truck, but overall its exactly what I was looking for. Would I buy another one? maybe, maybe not... kinda had my eyes on the Rx400h or GX470

I've been through a couple of Trans Ams, three pickups (mini, mid-size, and full-size), a Jeep Wrangler, a Camry, an Acura Integra, a Chevy Blazer, and two Expeditions.

The Camry was a great commuter vehicle, the two Expys were great, reliable trucks, and I still own the Jeep, but nothing fits my needs better than the 4Runner. It is my favorite by a long shot. It's comfortable, powerful, just big enough, and gets decent gas mileage. (for a V8)

I dread the day I have to get rid of it. The only thing that would make it worth while was if I was replacing it with a new 4R with a turbo-diesel. (if they'd ever import those, hint, hint, Toyota )

I love my 4R and give a 9 out of 10. I'd give it a 10 out of 10, if it included the features on my wish list in the other thread. I go with another 4Runner in heartbeat.

I love my 4 runner. Funny thing happened yesterday. I recently sold my Mercedes convertible. I was driving down the road when my old benz passed me by. It just worked out that the driver got in front of me. I was admiring my old car. It looked mint and I was glad for the new owner but a little sad my baby was gone. Then we hit a big traffic jam. The benz driver cut through a parking lot and I followed not knowing this shortcut was there. We then approched a main road to get back on the highway but I noticed the benz was stopping and turning around. The reason became clear as I got closer. There was major construction and the road was not passable. But wait, not for me. I slipped the bad boy in 4 wheel, eased up to an ugly approach and navigated it like butter . I must admit moments later the lust for my old car faded away. These trucks rock.
