We've Been Punk'd

Apparently, somebody played a little joke on Duke & Gidget. In our previous post, we showed a picture of a dog named Hercules, purported to be the worlds largest dog. Since we received that picture in an email, we figured it had to be true. But then we got a few comments questioning the validity of the picture. After doing a little research, it appears we have been Punk'd. I guess a little research goes a long way. And just to make us feel a little stupider, apparently the dog pictured isn't even the same breed as the story claimed. Boy, some dog experts we are. So we would like to apologize for our indiscretion, and in the future we will be sure to check our sources better.

And if you are wondering, we can guarantee that the second picture is definitely NOT photoshopped. That one is 100% Duke's real tongue. But we still feel stupid.
