Two kids, 4 cars, bills, bills, and more bills. I've been building boats and boat trailers since 05 up until this year we moved down to the lake and surprisingly there in no boat manufacturers up here in our area being as we are right on Table Rock Lake... School last year in Auto Collision Repair and saving for another build I'm doing on a different car so 4runner isn't getting modded anytime soon.. My wife's 02 runner though... She works 50+ hrs a week as a CMT/CNA and we are currently saving to lift hers and get some new wheels and tires.
How do you pay for your mods?

I install and refinish hardwood floors here in Downtown Chicago and all along the gold coast. Some of my clients include Oprah, The Rickett family(Chicago Cubs owners) CEO's of major internet companies and even the original Playboy mansion. I really didnt need anything crazy done to my Runner seeing it only gets driven about 10 miles a week and its only driven on the streets. I just wanted a new look seeing I bought it brand new.
I fund modifications the same way I approach anything in life. If I don't have enough money for something, I don't buy it. I paid cash for my 4Runner because I worked hard, saved money, invested money, and I was able to just right a check for my truck. Same comes to new tires, lift, etc. If I don't have the money for it, I won't buy it. It all comes down to having a job and being smart with money. It's not the most exciting answer in the world, but it's a good philosophy to have in life.
