How fast has you t4r gone?

95 I think. Pretty comfortably even though I'm running 33s and armor. My old jacked up Chevy on 37s with a small block 350 got up to 90 and that was all I had the cajones for. My 03 Mach1 got past the end of the speedo which is 150 mph, that was fun :driving:
 
91. I was passing a car in a not so great passing zone simply cuz I was extremely pissed that they flicked they're cigarette on my hood!

But ivw done 145 in my grandmas gt mustang. Lol yeah I said grandmas. :rolleyes:
 
I have hit 110 GPS'd in the runner. I have done 118 GPS'd in my dads v8 4th gen. It was scary in my 3rd gen, the 4th gen was smooth. They aren't fast trucks. I drive my Dinan 335i if I wanna haul the mail.
 
i think i had my '97 up to about 85 mph a few times and i might have hit 90 mph once in my '98. lol, these are not fast trucks, nor do they handle all that well...
 
I've gone 105mph on my 3rd gen and 115mph on my mom's FJ Cruiser. Also, I've gone 110mph on my sister's Galant, 117mph on my dad's C300 and a whooping 65mph on my 73 Mach 1 :D
 
80mph 4runner, 140 BMW, which felt perfectly fine, 150 Panoz Esperante w/ Ford V8, which was a rather boring vehicle

I also went 105 in my 89 civic - that was scary.
 
I cruised at 90 in the 4Runner from the Seattle area down to Portland while following my brother in his RS4... 16mpg... Thank God for Valentine One's, saved us from a few tickets.

Near the wind farm out in Condon, OR I did 105 in the 4Runner... No traffic, new blacktop, and perfectly straight for ~5miles. It had plenty left, but didn't feel very safe. I will not do it again.
 
I've had it about 95mph. Wasn't too bad; but then again, I....

- was on a straightaway, and
- have had LBJs/OTREs replaced, as well as the tires

I've had mine up to 95 a few times. I had a vibration problem above 65 and I didn't rest until I could go 95 smooth--TRE's, shocks, tires, rack and sway bar bushings, alignment--each one seemed to raise the speed I got vibration a few mph.

Fastest I ever drove was 116 topped out in a 350 CID V-8 1968 Pontiac LeMans (luxe version of the GTO) on an unopened stretch of I-78 around 1971.
 
Just went about 90 downhill in my truck. But the 4runner will barely go 15 now, stupid trees.
 
I've hit 110 on multiple occasions. I'm fairly sure it's electronically limited because once I pegged it, the throttle cut out and didn't pick back up again until it got down to ~95. After getting back up to 110 and it did it again, I gave up on trying to go faster.
I like going fast. xD
Fastest speed I've ever gone was 140 in a friend's G37S. He went 140-0 in about 20 seconds and the rotors were red hot afterwards. That was pretty fun.
 
My turn... 85 in both 4Runners. I did 140 MPH in my 1991 Turbo Saab 9000. I rode rear ***** seat in a 1991 Acura Legend doing ????, buried the needle. Last number on the speedo read 165 MPH. You could feel the car start to pick up off the ground. Scary as ****...

Haha not daddies money at all....I wish it was! Don't be upset that my baby motor 3.4 boosted 4runner can outrun your good ole V8.
 
I like how this thread went from being about how fast 4runners went to how fast you've been in anything, haha.

btw if this was a motorcycle thread the speeds would be in the 160-180 range for most people. Not that impressed by 140 in a cage, thanks :)
