How hard is it to add a speed sensor wire to a nav unit?

I installed a factory navigation system into my 4Runner. Unfortunately, the connector for the speed sensor wire is on the back of the navigation unit, which means that you would have to disassemble everything and pull the unit out to access the rear of it.
Thats the hard part. Once you get it out, its pretty easy to run the wire from the navigation system and tap it into the speed sensor circuit.

Man...you're having some luck with it aren't you? I really suggest you take it apart yourself so you can familiarize yourself with the vehicle and Avic D3. It can be intimidating just thinking about it, but this forum has sufficient informations for you to fix any other problems that might be there once you take it apart. It's your choice though...note that you spent nearly $400+ extra on "professional installation" and look what happened. If you want to take a safe route, guys who did the 2nd install might fix it for you. Or charge you more......
Personally I'd rather do it myself if I were you. It's really helpful when you are ready to sell your vehicle or upgrade your stereo to be able to take 'em apart and install it. I'm gonna do it once I get enough doughs to save up money for DNX 7100 *drool*
P.S. This is merely suggestion so don't sue me if something goes wrong.
P.P.S. There is a website with full step by step on how to take the dash apart just do a search for it.
P.P.P.S. I believe Airbur has posted a pic of location of speed sensor wire on your previous forum. You can use that as a reference.
