How many guys sell their trucks lifted?

Was thinking about the future and I was just wondering how many guys sell their trucks lifted, and also what have some gotten in the past for them? Just curious is all!

I see plenty of trucks sold with leveling kits. Sold my previous Tundra with a leveling kit and the buyer actually wanted it that way.

I think most buyers would prefer a stock truck, but there are some out there that are looking for a truck that is already lifted.

I know for colorado and Utah, there is a fairly large audience for lifted trucks... but else where in the flatter states, it seems most people want them stock. Keep in mind that probably 80% of 4runners will see pavement most of their life... If you don't have the suspension you replaced, I'm sure you could find someone looking for a lifted truck though.

That's a good question, I am kind curious about this too. I know I would prefer to buy a stock truck so I can mod it the way I want and don't need to worry about someone else's quality of work. If you traded it in I would a imagine a dealer might try to give you even less for it if they knew it had been altered. However, depending on the lift, I would imagine a lot of dealers and most of the general public wouldn't even notice a lot of spacer type lifts on our 4Runners unless they were parked next to a stock truck.

There is an alternative. I chose on the Daystar 2.5/1.5 because it can easily be returned to stock and the lift can be sold on here without much hassle at all. However, if you were to go with a more serious lift, I think you would have a better chance selling it private party than trading it in. Dealerships always want to feed you some line that they'll have a hard time selling your modified vehicle for some reason, when in reality, they'll probably be able to sell it within a week because it is more unique.
