How much are people paying for the NEW 4Runner?

Oh yes I did.. And at first his communication was very polite and prompt. Then he sent me over a scanned image of a 4Runner build sheet and that price. Not even a smiley or some XOXO's!!

I sent him back a screenshot of the lowest local offer that I had and made sure to tell him that this was for a TEP, not a TE. Once I called him out it went dead silent.

None of us are asking for the vehicle free, we just refuse to be taken advantage of. They'll charge you MSRP and steal your trade in the bat of an eye if you let them.

I've also been explicit in my wanting ZERO dealer added crap. I don't even want floormats. I'll have those purchased before the vehicle arrives.

Just picked up a new TRDPro in MG from Tustin Toyota. The car belongs to the Mrs. She really wanted this rig, we test drove 7 different vehicles and she liked this one the most. MSRP was $43,199, which included the tablet holder (which we didn't want), and they made us purchase Perma Plating so $44,494.00 before Tax and tags.

We're happy with the vehicle even though we couldn't get a discount on it b/c it was a Pro.

Main problem is the inventory, lack there of.
I have no problem negotiating SR5 or limited. But the trail and pro are just too rare. The dealership gets about 1 in every month or two.

Anyone know a dealership in westcoast who has set invoice price or a volume dealer?

Congrats, I just talked with them yesterday and they wanted 5k over msrp for that exact car. Maybe I just need to drive to a dealership and wait for a pro to come in.

It would be nice if we had this type of information for different areas in the country to be honest. I'll travel for a vehicle but not to the west coast.

I'd stuck between the SE region and Gulf states. BOTH hate KDSS it would seem.

Not sure where on the West coast you are but...

Larry Miller Toyota in Corona, CA say they have two they can get a hold of. Longo Toyota in El Monte, CA have a few also. I've corresponded with four dealers and only two have nothing in stock, but one, Glendora Toyota, say they can find one when I'm ready to sign.

2016 LE Mag Gray/Redwood 4x4 w/out 3rd row for 43500 (sticker 46,066) after removing all options except the roof cross bars

Searched dfw area for over a month looking for this combination, apparently pretty rare for gulf states. Ended up putting in deposit for one coming into houston port next week, best price I could get after quotes from 4 different dealerships, all saying they wont deal much on a "rare combination" and one they have to source

Now to get new wheels/tires and rid of that chrome

I'm definitely sure he doesn't have the vehicle on the lot so trying to deal him down to where I'd like to be is probably an exercise in futility. I'd ask for $39K + tax/license. Anyone think that's too low for the SoCal area? I would appreciate some feedback.

Just picked up a 2016 LE in Blue on Friday, MSRP: 47125.00 Invoice 44091. Price I paid 43591.00. 40k for my two trades, - payoff (34,500), they got me a 2.04% rate for 72 months, after TTL, Amt financed, 38k, monthly pmt 570.00

39k seems low. Since Socal has so many offroad areas dealers know that these TE/TEP/TRDP don't need to be marked or sold below MSRP because the market here is so high. I know a few have gotten some amazing deals so I am not gonna say it can't be done but the couple TEP i saw were MSRP $41. Definitely in the ball park. Good luck!

Total is $41,068. MSRP $42,604. Trading in a 2013 Honda Civic Si sedan with ~63k miles for $14,500. I feel like I did well.

I just picked up a TEP in super white for my wife last weekend for 40.2k . That was the lowest I could get it here in SoCal. Most place didn't have them or wanted to much for them. Msrp was 42,145

That's with kdss , rear sliding cargo , mats , cross bars and exhaust tip as added options.

Go to Longo Toyota and see William Phan , cool dude made the sale go smoothly, they currently have 3 in stock with the same options.

When I was working out my deal I was offered a TEP for a little over $40k before TT&L from Carson Toyota. They told me the difference from a Trail to TEP is $3k. Worked with their fleet department and this was the best deal I could work out from the 6 dealers I contacted. I ended up purchasing the Trail instead of the TEP. Didn't need the sunroof and leather. Good luck with the purchase.

That is very close to the lowest quote I've had for a SW TEP with KDSS and RC. I'm at $39,900 without any accessories (will buy them myself). I put my $500 deposit yesterday so crossing fingers I won't get some BS back.

When I was working out my deal I was offered a TEP for a little over $40k before TT&L from Carson Toyota. They told me the difference from a Trail to TEP is $3k.

The initial offer I got from Carson was $39,975 for a bare-bones TEP with KDSS. A similar setup but includes sliding tray, cross bars, and cargo cover from the Corona dealer was about $40,500. I still think they can move on the price a bit more. Gonna hold out a bit and see. Worst case I end up going with a 2017 LOL

I think that's the same William Phan we worked with when we got my wife's Camry back in 2012. I had my wife contact him but apparently he's in finance now. Handed me off to another sales person related to him. We haven't discussed price yet but from initial conversations it doesn't seem like they'll budge much. Hoping to schedule a test drive this week.

I found a slightly used 2016 TEP with KDSS in Canada for $43,900. It was a Toyota head office car and has 24,000 km on it. Thinking of selling my 2004 v6 sport and upgrading to this one. Only thing holding me back is that it's the alpine white which isn't my first choice for color. Sounds stupid to pass up a good deal for a color though. I just really love the mag grey or black.

I flew from SoCal to Colorado to buy mine as every SoCal dealer continuously told me how "rare" a red Trail w/ KDSS was and that there would be little to no negotiating on price when one did pop up. The wife and I just made a little mini-vacay out of it by staying a night in Denver, catching a Rockies game and then driving it back. Everything was done via the net. Kept waiting for something to happen to kill the deal but it didn't!
