How much are people paying for the NEW 4Runner?

Which dealership in FL? I have been exploring the possibility of trading in my '16 Trail Premium on a '17 TRD Pro. So far, every dealer I've had contact with wants to either sell the TRD Pro at sticker price with no discounts or for more than sticker.

Gatorland Toyota in Gainesville. Tim Gier really worked his butt off and put up with a lot of requests & changes during the whole search and stuck with me the whole time. Might have not been the lowest price deal possible but I promise you they earned their money on that sale.

Agree totally. I test drove a '16 Trail Premium without KDSS and then one with immediately after on the same exact winding roads and there is a huge difference IMO in how well the KDSS equipped 4RUNNER handled the road.

FYI, I researched KDSS, I thought it was something I had to have because I live on a 2 mile long washboard dirt road that I drive twice a day. As it turns out it would have been a poor choice, $1750 at that. There are several threads here that discuss it in detail along with a GoPro video that shows how it functions. Long story short, yes it improves highway handling because of the stiffer and larger dia. sway bar. Off road, the KDSS functions at 12mph & under, otherwise the sway bar is locked and as I was told, the resulting stiffer suspension would rattle my brains out. One poster who drove quite a few miles on fire roads had to trade his KDSS equipped T4R for a non-KDSS vehicle due to the ride quality. Just something to keep in mind depending on your driving conditions. Had I not gotten the Pro, I would have gotten a non-KDSS Premium & went with some Bilsteins or similar upgrade to improve highway handling.

thats interesting. just purchased a '17 trd off road with KDSS because it felt better than non. so basically kdss is smoother under 12 mph but harsher above that? guess i shouldve done some real research on it.

Again it depends on your driving. When I first looked into it, the video that I ran across was actually a demo of the XREAS system incorrectly labeled as KDSS. XREAS would have been ideal for my conditions according to the description, as it supposedly smoothed the ride over washboard and similar conditions. KDSS for certain takes care of the nose dive on braking and body roll on cornering but not due to the KDSS function, it's a product of the heavier sway bar with that option.

Had that price offered on one w/ 3rd row seats and one w/out but was looking for one w/out.

I had some timeline flexibility so I emailed several dealers with a goal price and had offers from 2 after some back and forth - got it in writing (email) before setting foot in a dealership. Made the process 100x easier than previous car buying experiences.

Somewhere around 42.xx IIRC. I have it on a USB drive in my gunsafe but my wife will stab me if she hears all that beeping right now. They started at 47xx before tax so clearly there was monster headroom.
