That's a damn good deal! What color you get? As far as the warranty, the powertrain on these Vehicles is pretty freaking solid. It's all the little electronics and random things you gotta worry about. Always nice to have the warranty, but how many miles you planning on driving each year?! [emoji1787]

Even after purchase of the warranty you can make some adjustments. I'd ask for a 10 year 150K to extend it a bit. That's just me tho.

It’s pure white. I really liked the red online, but once I saw them in person, I fell in love with the white. I’m thinking about all the mods I want to do on it and my wife isn’t crazy about the idea of making any changes! She’s saying, “it’s a family car!” Yeah the most bad ass exploring family car! I’ll keep working on her and educating her that the mods are going to improve the functionality (such as headlights and internal LED’s).

Rofl at the mileage/year. Yeah, once I get into financing, I’ll see if they can work any deal on a bumper to bumper warranty. Trying to figure out what steps/running boards/sliders I should put on it. I liked the look of the predator bars, but in person, they hang down like SUPER far.

So freaking stoked to get it in the garage!

Careful with the oil changes. 100's of posts and tons of thread how dealers screw up, too much oil, not enough, stripped bolts, cracked oil filters, even body damage. Not Toyota specific but read more horror stories here than previous rides

I have owned numerous vehicles of many makes foreign and domestic - why does Toyota make the oil changes so difficult?!

I can change the oil and clean up our Forester in less than 10 minutes because of the Fumoto valve and top mounted filter. 4Runner is an afternoon appointment [emoji52] removing skid plate, dealing with the stupid filter..... it's never a clean operation.

I'm not saying its difficult, dealers (most) do not use mechanics to change oil, mostly unskilled cheap labor. Coming from Jeep and Ford I've read the nasty stories that dealers do. Never experienced it until Ford messed mine up. coming to this forum as mentioned reading 100s of posts in the last year alone is just plain awful. Toyota will never see my vehicle for any maintenance. even though I'm no expert, i'll take my time and know its done 100% correct

Yeah man, I trust NO ONE when it comes to maintenance on my vehicle. It may be a bit more of a pain than it should be (my opinion) to change the oil on the T4R, but I would much rather do it myself to make sure it's done correctly. I too will try to do as much of the maintenance as I possibly can.

Anecdotal evidence exhibit A: I have a good friend who was one of those "unskilled cheap laborers" at a mechanics shop in Philly, fresh out of high school. They had a regular customer with a Volvo who had been bringing the car to them for YEEEEAAARS. My buddy got put on the job and noticed that he didn't have the required tool to remove the oil filter. Another tech says, "yeah, we don't have the tool, just change the oil and you're done." In other words, they had NEVER changed the filter on this car...... This is only one of his many stories

I don't get it, either. My '08 T4R had the filter mounted high on the driver's side. Pop the hood and put your hand right on it. My '90 and '00 T4Rs were like this '19: remove the frickin skid plate.:nono:

Yes, we do. Just got a 2020 Limited for 42,900 for the wife, and a 2020 CR-V for 13% off MSRP for my son.

This is a great time to buy if in the market. Once this is over, the deals will be over. If you have the means today, this is a great time for you and the sales person to make a deal. Win-win.

Holy crap man, that's ridiculous. Considering we have four Toyota dealerships in LV you shouldn't give up too easily. I have had tremendously good luck turning Subaru dealerships against each other to get the price lower. Give it a shot. They may not fluctuate price for Pros and Limiteds but SR5s are haggle-able. Good luck!
