How much are people paying for the NEW 4Runner?

2020 4Runner Limited Nightshade, Midnight black, 4WD, touch keypad entry, Nightshade running boards, all-weather mats, front window tint, toyoguard platinum, clear coat protection (door cups and door edging). $46,250 + TTL. I used both TrueCar and Costco Auto Buyer Program, Went with Costco dealer and worked down a better price.

I'm not a member of Costco, but I'd certainly buy a membership to get that price. I'm not familiar with the Costco Auto Buyer Program. As a Costco member, is Costco helping you get a better price through your local dealership? Who did you purchase your vehicle from? Thanks in advance!

The Costco dealer, Springhill Toyota in Mobile, AL, was excellent to work with on pricing. They emailed me a price and then I shopped around. Since it was new car purchase, I emailed 4 different Toyota dealers with the model I wanted and the TrueCar dealer was $2000 more than the Costco dealer. I negotiated the Costco dealer price even lower and they didn’t give me the run around with all the dealer add-ones. They just gave me a price via email, so I knew the exact price. I haggled 3-4 times via email and then went to the dealership to finish the paperwork in about an hour. You also get a 50% off coupon For an accessory after you complete a Costco survey and I used it to buy a cargo cover from the dealer. I would definitely recommend Costco’s Auto Buyer Program. I purchased a 4x4 Nightshade with 3rd row seat in June. I received 10% off the sticker plus $1,500 rebate.

I sold my ‘18 last year and I’ve really missed my 4Runner. I’m looking to get a 2021 Trail when they come out.
I’m on the east coast of VA. Anyone had a good experience and bought at a great deal around Hampton Roads?
When I got my ‘18 I lived in Richmond and drove up to Koons near DC. Now, that dealership is much further away. If I have to make the drive for the best price I will, but I do have a 1 year old now.

Bob Carter, Toyota Motor Corp.’s North American sales chief, said the Japanese auto maker is benefiting from the higher pricing, despite the recent drop-off in U.S. sales, and trying to produce more of the lucrative SUVs and trucks that are in high demand right now.
“I’m building all the 4Runners, Highlanders, RAVs, Tacomas and Tundras I can possibly build,” Mr. Carter said.
(means supply is tight, may not be able to find too many deals).
