How much lift looks good with stock tires?

I bought my 03 Limited in 2008 with 32,000. The first thing I did was change the POS Dunlop stock tires with Michelin Cross Terrains. They are 265/65/17s. I now have 48,000 and the tires perform tremendously. I really want to lift my truck and I don't like how low it sits stock. I am not about to change the tires as they only have 16,000 miles and are like new. How much lift still looks normal and good with my tires?

I have a 3/2 spacer lift, with exact same tires, I think it looks fine, it's all in how you like it, zero lift, or 3" lift with stocks seem ok to me.

If you wanna keep your 265/65/17 and have it look good, i would recommend a leveling kit from: Daystar™ - Driven by Design, Burtman Industries, or Front Top Plate Spacer Kit - Toytec Lifts: Toyota Lift Kits: FJ Cruiser Lift Kits, Tacoma Lift Kits, Tundra Lift Kits, 4 Runner Lift Kits, Sequoia Lift Kits, Toyota Truck Lift Kits. Not to hijack the thread but I am wondering the same thing. I installed the 1" Daystar Budget Boost and really like how it changes the front end look. But to me back looks a little low...and it will be when loaded with people and a boat is hitched up.

Then I added the 1.5" Daystar Rear spaces and I think it looks OK but...I think it's a little high. If i could have .75" lift in the rear I think that would be awsome. Maybe I can cut down the spacer? Any thoughts or imput.

I know this means very little without a picture,
so I'll get some up soon.
I lifted the rear with Sway a Way coils and OME shocks.
Performance is great and lift is about 1.5"
vs 2" with the OME coils.
Front is OME 885 yielding 2.5" lift (I have V8 and an ARB).
The truck looks nicely trim and performs great from empty
to moderate load. She wears stock tires right now (265/65/17)
with spidertrax but looks great.
I'll re-shoe with 265/70/17 BFG AT soon and call it done.
