Very reliable
Bought my '98 with just over 100k. Immediately replaced all the rubber hoses, belts, pads, shoes, radiator fluid, timing belt and water pump (because I was doing the timing belt anyway). I now have 130k+ and the car was in Africa for 3 years and India for 2.
Looks like I'm going to have to sell it next year before my next post (probably Vietnam) because they won't let me import a vehicle more than 5 years old. I'm crying.
I have never done anything but change the pads and oil in 5 years and clean the Idle Air Control valve. I changed the belts a couple of days ago because the AC belt squealed on start up occasionally.
