I know certain people do what im thinking in a real garage but mine's not big enough. I want to park my 4runner in my garage as its my daily driver as well as overlanding rig. my car came with an aluminum ARB roofrack which I mounted my ARB awning to. if I removed it I could easily get 4runner in my garage and not have to worry about weather in the morning. why have a garage if you cant use it. anyway would a carport ceiling be able to hold about 125 lbs.? kinda like rafters? the rack is held down with only 2 bolts in each corner. I want to hang the rack system on that ceiling, then park car in my own garage and then still be able to use the carport as a shed.
