How to Black Out front Toyota Emblem?

There's a sticky in the 5th gen section that lists links to how-to's to all sorts of projects including painting/pastidipping the front emblem.

But anywho, I used a trim removal tool ( small screwdriver will work, just don't scratch the surround) at about 10 o'clock on the emblem and pried up. You feel it give and it will pop right off.

I plasti dipped my and has held up great so far but you could always paint it as well.

Good luck. Super easy mod, hardest part is watching the paint dry lol.

Use plasti dip if you don't like it you can peel it right off once dry like a sunburn. It limits over spray as well still protect your surrounding stuff. Do 3 to 4 heavy coats with a few minutes in between to dry not heavy enough to cause runs.

Pried it off @ 10 o'clock location and painted with Rustoleum Hammered Finish in Black.
