Class envy/warfare is the liberal left's favorite tactic. Condemn those that have taken great personal risk to start a business, put in A LOT of hard work, and sometimes if they're lucky, had some success.
Personal responsibility, determination and hard work, is poo-poo'd as greedy, and self-serving by the left. It doesn't fit with the 'benevolent, all-knowing overseer's' that the left seems to view themselves as.
I would like someone to explain what exactly is so compassionate, about the ideology of treating EVERYONE (not just the relatively few who actually need help) as if they are 4 years old, and incapable of taking care of themselves?
That is not compassion, it is rather the ultimate in condescension and control.

That is the whole point of the ACA. It's not about providing healthcare to those that really need it, it's about creating a nation of people that are dependent on government.

For the record, I'm not overly religious either. So I don't entirely agree with Thai's youtube link. I think people who are of African descent, should stop listening to the racist, race-baiting tools like Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Jeremiah Wright, et al. Perpetual victim is not the attitude to have to get ahead in life.
I have no problem with abortion, if it's not just for lazy, irresponsible convenience, and there is a genuine health threat to the Mother's life.
I don't care about Gay's marrying, or whatever consenting adults want to do with each other.
I am a Libertarian, Constitutionalist.
I want the overbearing nanny-state Government to leave me alone, and follow the Constitution that they swore to uphold. Not continually look for ways to circumvent the Constitution, the way this Administration, and all liberal left Administration's have historically sought to do.

Since ACA passed my company went from three available plans down to one (dropping the one I preferred), my monthly contributions will have gone up 45% starting in January, and I got a letter from my doctor saying he has to quit and go back to ER medicine; so yes everything BO promised was a lie, plus check the news about the millions of policies canceled and counting.
I don't think you can fix the ACA. if you take a 2000-page piece of legislation and try to "fix" it, you'll end up with a 3 or 4000-page bill.... just like they try to fix the tax code every few years.
I have to admit though it is funny to watch BO this week try to backtrack... his arrogance is astounding to think he has the power to personally tell insurance companies to re-establish canceled policies, and its an extension of only 1 year, what good will that do?
First ACA needs a 100% repeal. then, the conservatives have some good ideas like allowing purchase of policies across state lines. if this administration would stop stifling the economy and get out of the way, we could have an economic recovery and health costs would be less of an issue.

Here is a comparison of a health insurance plan that can be purchased today versus a similar plan that is ACA compliant with Wellmark Blue Cross Blue Shield in the state of Iowa. As you can see the premiums for the ACA plan are higher at every age and in some cases the increase is significant. A husband and wife age 35 with two kids would go from paying $758.30 to $1,106.64 per month. This is $348.34 more per month, a 46% increase. This is not "Affordable".

As mentioned earlier, Hillary has been distancing her camp. I expect her to be able to solve the problem with a unique approach during her campaign.
