Just back from 3k road trip. This was a few weeks after CAI install. Gas mileage was 18.5 pretty consistently. It took a few hundred miles for the computer to settle down. Was initially reporting in the 12 -14 range. FYI post CAI gas mileage is really no different from pre CAI. I think the acceleration when you floor it is better but have no quantitative means to support that!

Just got done with the install and I'm very happy with it. Took some useless plastic out of the engine bay and makes the motor sound less like a blender. Granted the same results can be achieved with pulling and capping the resonator, but it sure is purdy.

For anyone on the fence, as I have been for the last year, this video does the best job of capturing the before/after sound of any I've seen on Youtube. I decided to pull the trigger with the new TRD "Save" coupon code.

Even if there is no improvement in MPG or power, I like that this intake gives the engine a different voice and more character. Not sure how many of you have driven recent/newer Lexus products with the 2GR-FSE or 2GR-FKS, but this TRD intake reminds me of those engines when in Sport or Sport+ mode. In the video, it sounds fairly similar above 3k RPM, which is a welcome change over what we have now. The 1GR has a lot of strong traits, but audible personality is not one of them, I'd say.

Marietta Toyota, but I’m in Atlanta. Try googling dealers closest to you - that way, your shipping will be cheaper.
The best tool I actually found is google - searching “4Runner TRD Intake,” looking at the dealers, then finding the one closest to you. Some have the SAVE promo up, and some don’t.

So, I installed the intake today and it went very smoothly, taking about 90 mins. Nice to spend some quality time outside and with the truck.
On my test drive after installing, I noticed that at WOT around ~5-6k RPM, something is rattling on the passenger side of the dash. I emptied everything out of my glove box, since it sounded like it was coming from there - rattle persists.
I double checked everything on that side of the car and nothing is loose, under the hood or in the cabin.
I took my glovebox apart again and it sounds like at that very high RPM, the cabin filter cover or glovebox door to the cabin filter are vibrating a tad.
Has anyone else experienced this? Any ideas on a fix for it?

So here's a question - why isn't the CAI listed as fitting newer 4Runners? Called my dealership and they can see and order the part, but don't show it as fitting the 2019-2020 models. The installation seems pretty straightforward, so no worries there.
It's not like the engine has changed. I am on the fence about this as I have the TRD exhaust on my 2020 TRD ORP and like the sound, but this would add a bit more growl.

Same as above. I asked dealer about CAI and the said only up to 2018 do they show the part. I have a 20 limited and would love to add the Toyota CAI.
Let me know how it goes. I have a brand new TRD CAI sitting in my garage that I bought for my 2019TRD-Pro as a part of 40%off TRD sale last year. Now I have the 2020 TRDOR and planning to install CAI first before buying the TRD Exhaust.
This reply is a little late.. but I have a 2020 Pro (with the exhaust) and just installed the intake. I dont notice too much difference until you are in the upper rpm band and then it really screams, but more so engine noise than exhaust.

I did a before/after dyno with the TRD Intake and got the following results:
+ 11.9 hp
+ 12.7 lb-ft of torque
