try being 6'8" then.

And I thought I was tall @ 6'6". Thanks for this mod, I thought I had to live with the headliner constantly touching the top of my head. This is happening in the spring!

My driver seat has up/down electrical adjustment but my passenger seat does not in my 2008 T4R Sport. The switches look the same on both sides but the passenger side ONLY moves forward and rearward.

Is the passenger side broke or is that the way it comes?

I have an '09 SR5, and want to mod the seat rails, However I also have in seat air bags SRS.

What do I need to do with the vehicle before I remove the seats and disconnect the wiring. Specifically with the yellow airbag wiring?

i would recommend unhooking the battery before unplugging and plugging back in the air bags.

The po of my "new" T4R spilled something under the driver's seat and it was starting to smell with all the rain we've had. I just yanked the seats out to clean it, didn't even give it a second thought. Oops.

I definitely need to do this mod though. I'm 6'3" and hit my head constantly. My previous 4th gen did not have a sunroof and I never hit my head. I swear you lose about 2" of headroom with the damn sunroof.

These brackets I installed yesterday don’t lower the seat, but they did give me an additional 4” of legroom, so I thought some of the tall people posting in this thread would appreciate knowing about it.

I also put them in my 2008 Honda Accord and those brackets moved the seat back 5.5”.

I want to see those pictures too. I cannot believe how irritating my head brushing on the head liner has become. Driving like a gangsta is not good for my neck or back. I'm researching metal fabricators in my area to see if they will do the work. Initial tests have yielded the "civil liability" worry disclaimer.... they don't want to touch the seat mounts in fear I will come back to sue them....
