Members should be allowed to ask any price they want without challenge.

If they consistently get lower offers or nothing at all, they will figure it out.... if they really want to sell it.

Lots of people with more money than brains. I saw a post from a guy on an Audi forum recently where some dude paid $5,000 for a clutch install.... even if he bought Southbends most expensive S4 stage 3 clutch it would be $1,000. So that means he paid around $4,000 in labor to install a clutch (which probably only cost $3-500)

So, now that we have a few pages of suggestions, I'm curious if any of them are on the table or in the process of being implemented? It seems like there are good number of people here who genuinely want to make the site better.
Are there any updates from the admin/mods?

I sent Admin a PM with this thread linked in it. He hasn't responded back to me nor has any of the other mods. I'll PM him again. Hopefully he will at least pop in and either say "sorry I'm not doing it" or "I'm working on it and taking it into consideration"... or something at least!

by allowing people to continue to ask the same question over and over, IS the problem or one of the problems with the forum, maybe thats why I havent been as active here, and am very active on a few select forums, either way, the question was asked, and I gave my thoughts/answer(s)

No amount of "stickies" will stop noob's from asking questions that can be solved with search.
I have gone out of my way to create a useful search thread (see sig) and yet I also understand that new people take some time to adapt.
Threads that can be solved by search DO NOT HURT YOU ... if you don't like it then just ignore them like the rest of us.

Change the site settings so that MODs CANNOT edit posts anonymously.

On most forums anytime a MOD edits or deletes a post the site will indicate "closed by XXX" or "edited by XXX" or "deleted by XXX" but for some reason this site allows mods to anonymously delete or edit posts.

I'm thinking of SINGTOEs V8 Conversion Thread here ... :snacker:

I assumed that was a mistake because they're the same as found here: Links - Toyota 4Runner Forum or maybe someone's attempt at improving SEO

Personally I thing vBulletin navigation stinks, I use dropdowns which are pretty accepted and efficient.

Yep, this was done for purely SEO. A lot of people search for model specific information, at least according to Google's web master tools.

That being said, I think it only takes room on the home page.

While you're working on more smilies, can we get rid of the "so gay" smiley? I've never seen it used in any other manor then derogatorily, which in my eyes, means it's potentially more harmful then good.
