They are back. I temporarily removed them to see if it would help performance. It didn't, so I put it back.

I think its WAYYYY to slow. no other sites Im on are this slow..

I wish there was a way, to keep those on the ignore list, not able to post in my threads. they are my ignore list for a reason lol

Anyone else getting "Server is too busy" notices every time you try to access T4R.com? I haven't been able to even check out the forums in a few days, and had a hell of a time trying to write a PM yesterday. I'm suprised I was even able to post this. Seems like a bunch of people are dealing with slow speeds, but I'd take that over not being able to see the forums at all!

B) All Threads must contain the following information
---1) What is for sale/trade (model, specs, etc.)

---5) At least one picture of the item for sale or for trade
C) Moderators lock Classified Threads that have not had any activity in 90 days or when the part is announced SOLD
D) No "Feeler" Threads - Its either for sale or it isn't

So after giving it some thought, my suggestion is to make A,C,D mandatory and B optional.


Something is wrong though - like 4RunningDaily's picture above I can't see peoples posts.

I think section B needs revision, but I agree with the rest

perhaps:

B:
1) item description
2) name of person selling item (I know some are cautious about this. perhaps optional)
3) location
4) asking price
5) how to contact (ex: email me at xxx or PM)
6) pictures (optional, though recommended)

I know the marketplace doesn't get too much traffic, but I feel these would benefit both seller and buyer.

It might be there and I've just been missing it, but I'd like a way to select multiple recipients from my friends and contacts list when composing a PM. Just like sending a regular email and pulling contacts as recipients or organizing them into groups. Would make it easier when trying to organize meet-ups and such.

But, "B" is probably the most important part of this equation. This is all pertinent information for any item for sale. Nearly everything listed online has (at least) this information available.

I think pics should be mandatory. If I say I have a set of wheels in "good condition" that could mean a lot of things to a lot of people. But, as you mentioned, it will benefit both the seller and buyer

Can the front page of the 3rd Gen section get cleaned up? The 99+ upgrade thread, rear sag thread, and keyless entry programming thread are unnecessary stickies and just make the forum look cluttered. Besides, they can be accessed through the Tutorial + Doc thread.
