I'm currently working on performance issues. I've made some changes. Will monitor and report back.
I think its WAYYYY to slow. no other sites Im on are this slow..
I wish there was a way, to keep those on the ignore list, not able to post in my threads. they are my ignore list for a reason lol
Admin is working on the performance issues as we speak.
Good suggestion for the ignore list. I'll make sure admin sees that.
[*]Strict Classified Section thread title rules [Under Consideration]
5) Classified Section: Threads must be formatted correctly and have the appropriate information OR BE DELETED
A) All Threads in this section must start with FS (For Sale)- FT (For Trade) - WTB (Want to Buy) in thread title as well as WHAT GENERATION the part applies to.
For Example: FS: 4th GEN Carpet Floor Mats - Tan
B) All Threads must contain the following information
---1) What is for sale/trade (model, specs, etc.)
---2) Condition
---3) Price/What you want to trade for
---4) Location of item
---5) At least one picture of the item for sale or for trade
C) Moderators lock Classified Threads that have not had any activity in 90 days or when the part is announced SOLD
D) No "Feeler" Threads - Its either for sale or it isn't
Personally I disagree... I've come across a couple ads now that are like "wheels for sale" got some wheel for sale, PM me.
really? lol. Maybe If I knew a little more about it, I'd be interested.
So after giving it some thought, my suggestion is to make A,C,D mandatory and B optional.
Something is wrong though - like 4RunningDaily's picture above I can't see peoples posts.
it should be fixed now.
I think section B needs revision, but I agree with the rest
perhaps:
B:
1) item description
2) name of person selling item (I know some are cautious about this. perhaps optional)
3) location
4) asking price
5) how to contact (ex: email me at xxx or PM)
6) pictures (optional, though recommended)
I know the marketplace doesn't get too much traffic, but I feel these would benefit both seller and buyer.

Can the front page of the 3rd Gen section get cleaned up? The 99+ upgrade thread, rear sag thread, and keyless entry programming thread are unnecessary stickies and just make the forum look cluttered. Besides, they can be accessed through the Tutorial + Doc thread.
