Just don't turn in to Yotatech...I was perusing this afteroon, and its so bad over there that Ford is now posting in the 3rd gen section!

Less advertising and rules. If two people have things to say to each other let them. Majority of us are adults and can be civil after a few words. Plus it's entertaining for others to read.

Advertising keeps this site FREE for us, I had ad block on chrome and I've never seen one.
I think the rules are pretty lax here, the mod squad lets people say everything on their mind, but I don't find it entertaining to read two people cursing each other out or calling each other names to no avail or making baseless personal attacks... like you said, the key is being civil. When it isn't civil it's stupid. if people really want to do that, do it over PM is my suggestion

I don't want to re hash my argument with Thai but were on good terms and I think some sarcasm may have been missed in there and it was a mid understanding.
Regardless, both of our posts were moderated accordingly. I don't think that a moderator asking people to follow the rules "rings hollow". Sometimes people get carried away and it gets handled and that's what happened there.

I let civil discussions go on, even if it gets a little nasty. Once people start throwing out names and insults, I give a warning. If a certain party doesn't heed my warning, I give them an infraction. Or as I like to call them, a mandatory forum vacation.
As said before. We are adults. Calling names is for children.

Yes but when you are browsing the forum as a new member and see people going after other members jugulars... That's kinda off-putting for them. This is a nice forum. 4Runners are classy trucks. Keep it classy, T4R
