I did a search and didn't really find anything and I know how much we all like pictures, so here goes!
I've wanted a way to secure my Glock inside my console without having it flop around and it's not really comfortable to carry while driving so I decided to do this.
Here is my Glock 19 and 27 with a Mike's Kydex paddle holster.
First, take apart holster,
Here you can see the gun in the holster with the mounting holes exposed,
Notice the the muzzle sticks out a little past the holster, does not do this on the G26. Important to note so that you don't mount the holster too low and then gun wont go all the way in.
Here is holster with spacer for a test fit.
Remove the center console pieces, I wont go into detail on this, there are plenty of threads here that show console removal.
There are six 10mm bolts holding down entire console.There are two inside console and the other four are under the trim panels.
Once you have everything unplugged and console removed, you can place console on bench or table. Next would be to remove the back cover and rear A/C grill, these pop out but start at the bottom and hinge back out before pulling on the top clips.
Remove the two 10mm screws holding down rear A/C vent channel.
Remove the two 10mm screws on the sides of the inner console box, this will allow you to remove the side trim pieces to access more screws.
Here are the two side panels removed with the two 10mm screws securing the side of the console box.
Looking at the back of the console you can see five 10mm screws securing the armrest, one in the center, two on each side, remove this. Caution, the armrest will flop around at this point. When reattaching this screws, place armrest in up position otherwise the spring will make things difficult.
Here are two more 10mm screws towards the front of the console box that need removing.
And here you go! That little box is a fair amount of work! Now you have access to the outside of the box to secure the holster with a nut and bolt combo.
I made a cardboard template of the holster to mark the mounting holes and leading edge and bottom of holster. The idea is to get the holster as low and far forward as possible to keep it stable.
Here is my template taped into position with the depth in mind, then I drilled holes into the box. BTW I had mounted the holster to the template and placed into console box with G19 in place to check fitment.

After trial fitting and happy with location, Loctite the screws! You dont want to do this all over again to tighten a loose screw!
Now you can reverse the process and put everything back together. This would be a good time to clean the little cracks and crevices.
Here is console back together and installed back in vehicle.
Glock 27 in holster and Glock 19 in bottom of box. You notice how close the holster is towards the front of box, that helps keep it from rocking around.
The whole thing to me about 1hr 45 mins and that's with doing some cleaning and taking pictures. I took my time seeing as I didn't have any instructions and I pretty much winged it!
I was actually suprised at how sturdy this felt, I thought for sure the thin plastic would flex some but it's not bad at all.
