how to remove center cap on wheel?

I have an 05 SR5 and am wondering how difficult it is to remove the center cap on the wheel. I want to mount the spare for a little while until I buy a new set of tires. The only problem is that the spare does not have a center cap so I'll have to swap it out with another wheel.

its not hard at all, it has a slot for the tire iron crowbar end to go into and it just pops off

As mentioned, you can pry it off, near one of the lug nut holes there'll be slot for a flat tip screwdriver.

Or you can pop it off after the wheel has been removed off the vehicle from the back, just push the center cap out from the center bore.

How do you get the hub back on?
I have a 2003 and lost the hub cover and I can't get the new one on.

Thanks

You just snap it back in place. Put it against the wheel and align properly and hammer it sharply with the palm of your fist. It's that simple.

Thanks

I tried that and broke one of the hubs.
Do you have to use a screw driver to align the hub cap?
I do not want to break another one.
Thanks

If you still get how to do this after my explanation it's best you get a friend or someone to help. I am not being mean but you obviously don't have any technical skills so its better to ask a friend and get him to do it for you.

Remove the center cap from the wheel when the wheel is off the vehicle (pry it out). Likewise, install it on the spare before you mount it back on the vehicle. Center the cap and then lightly pound it in with palm of your hand.
