How to test Vacuum?

I have a vacuum gauge here and looking for recommendations/procedure on which vacuum line I should be connecting the gauge into to check my vacuum.

Just bought the car and not familiar with what's recommended.

I don't think it matters, just pick a line that you can adapt to your gauge.
