Bingo. I don't want a hole torn into a new SUV.
Does anyone know a fair starting price for my rims/tires and how much the TRD's would run for someone who already did it.
Would it best to get the Bilstein shocks added right away or can I do those later? What about keeping the existing tires, do I have to get Grapplers and if so, why?

There is a thread with all you could ever want to know about Pro parts. You will not need to do the coil overs/shocks before you do the wheels&tires. I would not get your hopes up on your SR5 wheels/tires. Maybe if they were the trail design but I don't see much love for the SR5/Limited stuff around here. Best bet is craigslist or the for sale section here. If it was me I would likely split them up as the tires fit on many 90's era pick ups and that is how I sold my factory tires for ~$400 vs the <$100 discount tire offered me.

Location, location, location. They're all the rage in the west and southwest. Maybe not so much in Illinois. ANY 5th Gen 4runner wheel will fit ANY 5th Gen 4runner. If you're springing for tires as well as part of your deal why not go with what you want instead of simply what s available as part of a package, but may not be the best tire for your purposes? There is of course the fact that if you are to be slave enough to get the "look" you will also need to get the hood with scoop. And do the grill mod.

The response my dealer gave me is people thought the TRD was ugly and laughed at it. They're nuts! I just read that the 4Runner is going to have a major re-design in 2016. Hmmm
I paid $35,700 for mine. Trade in I'd get maybe $34k. TRD $42k. Just wouldn't make sense especially since dealers are not going down on the price.
