Hub to fender measurment

MEMO CAMPOS

New member
If I'm measuring 23.5" from the center if my hub to the bottom of my fender well, am I doing ok? My alignment guy told me he barley got the camber within spec or on the high side of the acceptable range. I'm thinking of backing off a little bit.
This is on my King coil overs btw maybe if someone can share their measurements that would be great!

Seems to be on the high side, I have mine set about 2.75 of lift and mine measure about 23 in the front. That would lead me to believe you may be close to 3.25 in lift but that is probably subjective also since you have a 2014 and I have 2013 and depending on where it was at before lift.

I know I totally hate my self for not measuring before but I'm gonna bump it to 22.75" give or take. Are you running kings?

How do your CV angles look?

Don't kick yourself for not measuring, I did the same exact thing, and then spent forever and a day searching here to figure out about roughly how much lift I gained, lol.

Angles look a bit steep, in which why I'm really worried about this! Plus going over speed bumps and stuff I feel the shocks topping out a bit! And I'm on the high side of the positive camber limits so not happy with that either.

Right on thanks! Did your icon rear springs settle much after a while and how long did it take?

They did settle some after a couple weeks, I was getting around 2.5 inches of lift out the gate now maybe 2.25 inches. I don't drive a ton but do every chance I get to help them to settle in. I have about 1.25 inch rake now which is barly noticeable. Pretty happy with it a down travel looks good when I jack it up. Haven't gotten to test yet in real life :biggrin1:

Interesting that this thread popped up today.

I went to go get my alignment done and have the tech use the ICON Billet UCAs to get me with in spec. I asked the tech to place me at the higher side of the caster setting using the UCAs. Well after a lot of playing around he said he couldn't because the UCAs were to LONG! WTF. I am now in the red on caster on my driver side and just barely in the green on the passenger side.

When I installed the UCAs the heims and sleeves were all the way in (basically I did not touch the heim as per the instructions).

Did I get the wrong UCAs sent to me? The tech stated I could raise my truck some, which I know will cause our trucks to loose caster. Which I do believe since adding my skids I have sagged a bit both in the front and rear.

I ordered the ICONs through Metal Tech so I don't think the order would be wrong, but who knows.

Once I track down my measuring tape I will see what my fender to hub is. Any ideas will be gratefully appreciated.

Don't know if this will help since they are different UCA's but maybe good for a reference sort of. Best I could think of right now to try and help out.
