I could some fast advice about hood swapping!

Since 1999 and 2000 are 3rd Gen brethren in most ways, is there any issue putting a 99 Highlander/Sport edition hood on a 00 Limited? I read the threads I could find and someone had a hood closure issue that I didn't see a resolution to that might have involved theft-deterrent gear on the 00 LTD.

I put a hood from either a 999 or an 01 onto my 2000. 4 bolts was all it was. Pretty simple.

Direct bolt on sir. I don't think there should be any issue. The aftermarket parts places all show the same hood from 1996-2002.

No issue. The theft deterrant switch is all on the latch on the radiator support, not the hood. Swap away!

If you can get a helper it's way easier and won't risk scratching the fenders.
