I finally ordered my Cornfed 2/1

The Update:
It's been almost two years since I'm installed the lift. It has given me no issues whatsoever, and it does show the more aggressive lift.
With all that said, I wish I would not have installed the lift. It gave me no benefit whatsoever except making me think my car looks cooler. Obviously the clearance was not improved, nor did the 2/1 give me much room for larger tires. The reason I wish I did Not install it is because a) it cost money that I didn't really reap any benefits from (not a big deal) b) it has caused me some undue stress due to the fact that my t4r is still under warranty. I read up on all the warranty threads before I installed and am aware of the issues, but I felt like I needed to do a writeup to share these thoughts.
My advice to others: if the t4r is under warranty, don't mess with it. If I had a t4r which was not under warranty, a CF or greater lift is the first thing I'd do, but I really do regret the job. I'm stuck between leaving it on, or taking it off and pretending I never f'd with it.

I'm not sure how you can say that your 2/1 lift did not improve your ground clearance. Sure, there are part of the suspension that do not have more clearance (lower control arms up front and rear axle and differential in the rear), but for the most part the enter underbelly of your 4Runner gained ground clearance with the addition of your lift. This can be very useful in deep snow, where you don't want the bottom of your 4Runner acting as a plow instead of riding over the snow.

Well, maybe your ruler is broken. I have a spacer lift and I definitely gained ground clearance. Like I said, maybe not on the axle or rear differential, or the lower control arms, but overall there is in fact increased ground clearance on most of the chassis. I'll let you borrow my ruler if you (or the forum consensus) disagrees.
